Five years ago, Jessica Marquez was asked to accompany a team of ministers to minister to the pastors wives of Nicaragua. She was the only woman invited to participate in this ministry endeavor. It was here that her life changed forever. As she solely ministered, day after day in the sweltering heat of Nicaragua, she heard the stories of the women that surrounded her. There was a special group of pastors wives that had traveled for 5 days. They had jumped on boats, maneuvering through waters for a long period of time, rode horses, walked, jumped on busses and walked again. It took them 5 days to arrive to a ministers conference that would only last 3 days. They didn't travel by themselves. There were babies hanging on their backs. It was then that the Lord placed a deep and great love in the heart of Jessica to return to Nicaragua, something she has done since 2013.
